The story started when the founder of AGATA, Mr Dana Ariya, intended to provide a platform for healthcare advice that’s responsive without delaying treatments for the patients by gathering medical experts, users & coordinators all on the same platform. Having the bad experience of misdiagnosis of brain cancer when he was 12, he knew that he had to do something to improve healthcare inquiries and the best way to do it now is through digitalization, as people are always on their mobile phones these days. The trauma of misdiagnosis led him to believe firmly that helping patients with the right needs to find the right doctor and helping the doctor to attract people with the right needs is important.

Learning from Mr. Dana’s father, Mr. Bon Lua who has been working in the hospital emergency department for the past 30 years, noticed that the emergency department is very often swamped with patients as they were not clear about the severity of their condition and ended up spending unnecessary time at the hospital or treatment being delayed due to the crowd.
AGATA was developed to be the most responsive healthcare channel to provide a user-friendly platform to improve the current medical industry conditions. Users will be welcomed by a 24×7 Chat Bot and then led to a friendly service agent to connect them to the right doctor for care and advice.
